Ride the Hiawatha

Brief

Marketing-site design for Ride the Hiawatha, a rail-trail through the Bitterroot Mountains, through RJP Systems. The work covered responsive layouts, brand extensions, and a UI system for the property’s trip-planning pages.

Desktop experience

Ride the Hiawatha desktop design with forest imagery and miles, tunnels, and trestles statistics

A forest-green palette, badge wordmark, and trail photography give the design its outdoor character. The hero highlights the ride’s defining numbers: 15 miles, 10 tunnels, and 7 trestles. Tickets and pricing, trail map, directions, and webcam are organized as primary destinations.

Mobile experience

Ride the Hiawatha mobile homepage and full-screen green navigation menu

The mobile layout retains the hero and trail statistics, with navigation expanding into a full-screen panel.

Role

Visual designer (contract) through RJP Systems. Responsive layouts, hero composition, brand-extension work, and interface components.
